Coming on like the better parts of your post punk record collection soundtracking a particularly dizzying episode of an Adam Curtis documentary, Hostile Foreign Powers take you on a heady ride through the stranger parts of the last half century or so with a backing track that you can dance to.

‘Radio EP’ pulls together taut, muscular punk funk, discomforting documentaries and cutting-edge AI technologies into one thrilling trio of songs. Shipping Forecasts are detourned into a cheeky reference to popular modern British pastime, enigmatic messages from recondite Number Stations are matched up to scratchy post punk melodies all wrapped up with a dose of nostalgic dread in Protect And Survive.
